Ini la jadinya kalau jumpa lecturer tanye soalan, jawapan dibincang, siap ajar lagi, bla bla bla..
The truth is, aku sebenarnya bukan begitu suka kelas immunology ni, disebabkan subjek ni sangat susah nak faham, lagi ade la 2-3 test yg aku terkantoi. Jadi tanggapan aku, immunology ialah subjek yang boleh menjahanamkan result aku (pada mulanya aku fikir macam tu la), Dr Ali pun susah betul nak faham, cakap laju, pastu plak lecture note pulak tak boleh refer selalu sebab of cos kene cari buku rujukan, nak nak pulak kelas immunology yang paling meletihkan sem ni start 4pm-6pm, dengan 1 hari penuh kelas, banyak kali ngantok + tido kelas dia..
Faktor-faktor ni la yang buat aku not favorable when it comes to immunology..
Nak dijadikan cerita, 1 hari Dr Ali nak buat oral test untuk 5% final. Aku la paling gelabah giler sebab banyak subtopic immunology yang aku tak berapa paham, pastu pulak kene terangkan depan dia. Masa oral test tu alhamdulillah soalan aku semua senang tapi sengal la aku tak baca topic depan jadi ade 2-3 soalan yang aku tak boleh nak jawab sebab lupa... Dr Ali tengok aku buat muka kesian, so dia cakap dengan aku sambil tunjuk kertas,
" you find out about this and tell me.."
Jadi minggu ni aku pun pergilah buat research soalan-soalan yang dia tanye aku tu. Memang susah la subjek ni, aku baca beberapa kali pun susah nak paham, final nak dekat. Tapi lepas beberapa jam tengok buku, jumpe jugak apa jawapan kpd soalan tuh
So, tadi aku pergi jmpe Dr Ali demi mengotakan janji aku, dia tengah mark kertas immunology dan dia pun happy la jugak sebab aku pergi jumpa dia dan explain kat dia, pastu dia pun explain lagi immunology kat aku walaupun aku blurr hehe. Tetiba masa tengah discuss tu, aku terlepas 1 bende. Aku cakap dengan dia Immunology la paling susah berbanding subjek lain (of course la aku cakap BI) Semua subjek kene hafal, parasite, virology, pharmacology pastu plak masuk process immunology lagi la payah..Dia berhenti, tengok aku dan here's how it started;
Ali: What is the difference between you and bus driver?
Aku: ... (tak sempat nak jawab pun)
Ali: The difference between you and bus driver is your KNOWLEDGE. The bus driver can also inject a cattle if he's practice and he could be better than you. But you are DIFFERENT. You learn about sciences, and you may know what will happen when the drug being administrated inside the cattle, how the drug function, and it will affect the cattle. But a bus driver only knows how to inject the cattle without knowing on how does the drug is metabolized. YOU can prescribed which drugs is more effective to use in the animal because you learned the action and multiple of drugs in you study...You should have basic science about immunology, pharmacology, epidermiology or else you have NO DIFFERENCE with the bus driver.
Dr ali pun tambah lagi
You will undergo pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical years, in your final years, you'll have to apply the knowledge you learned during your study year, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, medicine, all together. During that time, you will enjoy working as clinician, as many vet student will be, with statescope hanging on their neck and lab coat, planning to open a vet clinic one day ...but as you practice more you will find yourself which field is most favorable.
*banyak lagi Dr Ali cakap especially tentang perjalanan hidup dia
Dr Ali buat aku sedar yang tak sepatutnya kia tak perlu mengeluh dengan keadaan sekarang, sebab aku lain dari yang lain, aku bukan bas driver, aku bukan asistant vet, tapi aku bakal seorang DOKTOR VETERINAR.
I choose this path, I choose to be different, I choose to be someone. This is some price I have to pay, to encounter the obstacle awaiting for me!
Thanks Dr Ali! :)
